Victorian cottage in the village of Anstruther on the coast of Fife, just over an hour from Edinburgh. Only 10 minutes from St Andrews, and many golf courses. Ideal for children too.

Balgonar Cottage and Bothy
Traditional stone-built cottage in small estate near Saline, 40 mins Glasgow Edingurgh, 30 mins Stirling. Owner can provide home-cured bacon, meat, fruit and vegetables.
Sleeps 5 to 6. Also Studio Bothy 100 yards away sleeping 2 to 4.
Bosun's Cottage
Cottage right on the sea shore at St Monans, about 12 miles south of St Andrews. Fresh fish and good restaurants nearby, bird watching, walks. Childrens' playroom, 4 bedrooms, 4 bath/shower-rooms, sleeping 8.

Victorian House in Golf Place. Amazingly close, about 100 yards, to the famous Royal and Ancient Golf Clubhouse and the 1st tee of the Old Course in St Andrews. Easy pleasant walks to the shops and the beach. Sleeping 4.

Converted Granary in gardens with loch, set in farmland in Fife near Kirkcaldy. Easy access to Edinburgh by train (station 3 miles, journey 35 mins). Close to beaches, Fife Coastal Walk and golf courses. Rental sleeping 4 to 6.
