Veronica Maclean has been welcoming bed and breakfast guests to Westfield House for many years. It's a warmly inviting house with old paintings, antiques and an atmosphere of history.

The house is situated in its own farm - some of the finest farming land in the North of Scotland. Here Veronica grows wheat, potatoes and malting barley for the Whisky Industry. 'The Malt Whisky Trail', which includes many of the great whiskey distilleries of Scotland is just a short touring distance from Westfield.

The attractions of this area, including the Coast with its sandy beaches only ten minutes drive away, are many and varied and to try to give you some idea of the extent of them we have made a list below. Veronica, whose own interests in the countryside and local area are wide-ranging, is always happy to give advice to help guests with making the most of their visit to this beautiful and historic area.

If you would like supper please give Veronica notice in advance.
The dining table seats up to 18. Veronica is a trained and experienced cook,a nd as much as possible comes from her garden.

Events and gatherings

The drawing room can also be arranged to seat up to 30 people for a lecture or small conference.

Directions:

From Elgin take the A96 west towards Forres and Inverness. After 2.5 miles turn right onto B9013 to Burghead.

After 1 mile there is a crossroad, and a sign to Westfield to the right.

Follow that unclassified road until the sign to Westfield House and Office.
