Elevated, with glorious views over the gentle valley of the River Eden, and the River Tweed glinting in the distance, Edmonston House is an excellent rural retreat for families or friends on holiday in the Scottish Borders. Only 2 miles from Kelso (12th C Abbey, Racecourse, golf course, Floors Castle, woolens, pubs, restaurants) it is about 25 minutes from the coast (Lindisfarn, Bamburgh Castle) and one hour from Edinburgh. Plan your excursions from here - you can see away to the Cheviot hills to the South East and even Hume Castle on the horizon to the North!
The house is comfortable modern and spacious and has an enclosed garden. It has 5 bedrooms (one downstairs), two bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs wc, and sleeps up to 10.
One of the great attractions is the extra large Living Room with a Sun Room where you can sit and relax whatever the weather and look out on a truly peaceful landscape. The photograph on the right was taken from the Sun Room.
Also, you are welcome to play on the tennis court a few hundred yards away at Plumbraes Barn.

The kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, with a serving hatch. Dish washer, fridge freezer, electric cooker, microwave oven etc. There is also a downstairs wc, utility room (washing machine, tumble drier and ironing facilities), porch and spacious hall. Outside there is ample parking. |

Tariff Notes:Prices are in £ per week. These prices include beds made for your arrival, towels, electricity, oil central heating, logs, internet connection, sky TV, tennis. Last minute enquiries are welcome. Please phone or e-mail. Short break price for 3 nights in April, May, June, July, August, Sept and Oct is 3/4 of weekly price. Daily rates for Jan, Feb, march, Nov, Dec: please enquire. Rates vary depending on size of the party.
